There are four different classes to take based on the cadet's current grade. They include:
JROTC LET LEVEL 1:
Prerequisite: None
Credits: 1
Length: 1 Year
Grade Level: 9-12
The first year of Leadership, Education and Training (LET) course provides an introduction into the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC). The program’s mission is to motivate young people to be better citizens. Activities to develop leadership and management skills are stressed. This course uses military skills to teach self-discipline, confidence, and pride in communication skills, promotes and encourages citizenship through participation in community service projects, and develops leadership potential. Students are required to wear uniforms once a week. Uniforms will be handed out at the beginning of the year.

Students are placed in leadership positions and are expected to demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with others. Course content prepares students to succeed both in school and after graduation. Students are required to wear uniforms once a week. Uniforms will be handed out at the beginning of the year.

The duties and responsibilities of a leader are applied to the areas of drill and ceremonies and American citizenship. Career opportunities include ROTC scholarships and military academy programs. Students are required to wear uniforms once a week. Uniforms will be handed out at the beginning of the year.

The final year of the Leadership, Education, and Training (LET) course places primary emphasis on the practical application of the student’s leadership duties and responsibilities with the cadet battalion. Students receive practical experiences in problem-solving, group management, and challenges in leadership. Students apply the principles of the planning process, decision-making/problem-solving process, and supervisory techniques in fulfilling course requirements. The importance of American history through the 20th Century is covered. The course uses group dynamics to plan and conduct inspections and ceremonies. Continued emphasis is placed on community service projects. Students are required to wear uniforms once a week. Uniforms will be handed out at the beginning of the year.

MANDATORY EVENTS
JROTC has a multitude of mandatory events that the cadets must partake in. They include Parades, the annual Vets Dance, and wearing uniform every Tuesday. If you are missing an event you just have to have a parent/guardian written excuse. If you are missing a uniform day come to Major New, Sergeant Gonzalez, or a trusted person of chain of command.
All of your uniform will be handed out to the cadets within the first three weeks of school. It will then be up to the cadet to keep their uniform clean, ironed and presentable. If something happens to the uniform, (Ripped, stained, torn etc.) we will issue out a new piece of your uniform to you.
JROTC has multiple parades that the cadets must participate in throughout the year. We will alert the cadets a month prior to the event to make sure that they can alter their schedule to attend the parade. All parades are going to be a classroom grade.
